I will never purchase granola from the store ever again, and you won’t either after you make this guy. LITERALLY the greatest granola recipe I have ever made.
So tasty, and I fully recommend snagging a few bites of the warm oats while they are cooling on the pan.
You can also sub coconut sugar and just do all brown sugar. But don’t sub the brown sugar out. It’s so necessary and gives it that sweet crunch!

2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 tbsp honey
2 TBSP water
2 cups of oats
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
flaked sea salt to taste
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
Grab a small sauce pan and heat your water, vanilla, brown sugar, coconut sugar & honey over medium/high heat, mixing often with a fork until sugars are dissolved and mixture begins to simmer. (2-3 minutes) and set aside.
Grab a mixing bowl and put your oats, chopped nuts, raisins & chocolate chips in.
Mix together, and pour your sugar mixture in. Mix until combined.
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper OR use a non stick cookie sheet. Spread out your mixture as thin as you can onto the sheet. Top with flaked sea salt and bake for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, take out your cookie sheet and mix up your granola on the pan. Place back in the oven for 8 more minutes.
Let cool completely, and store in a large airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
